Is there any way to import a realmedia video into a PP
presntation? Or is there a converter that might satisfy
this?

You can link to a RealMedia file and RealONE or RealPlayer will play the
RealMedia file - not too elegant but the only way to do it.

Are there converters for RealStuff? In other words, can you convert it to
something else that won't require RealAnything to be installed on your computer
where it always seems to make RealMesses and makes you RealMad? ;-)

RealSOMEfoolthing is on one of the PCs here. Two days ago everything worked
fine. Yesterday it went bonkers, apparently because of something Real had
downloaded and tried to install w/o anybody's permission. Then the CD writer
stopped working. Then when I inserted a blank CD, the XP "What shall I do with
this?" popup listed something like "Make a CD using RealXXX"

Enough. Ripped RealEVERYTHING off the computer and all's peaceful now.

I had this problem a while back, but I eventually found a freeware
convertor, which converted Real Player files (.rm) to MPEGs. Just go on
google and have a search for ".rm to mpeg converter"
