I have a few videos in RealMedia format that I would like to burn to DVD
or VCD. Is there a freeware program that will allow me to do this?

I'm also interested in a program that will allow me to convert the RM
files to another format, e.g., AVI/DivX.

Thanks!

AFAIK there is only one freeware app that will do this and it doesn't
do it very well, or reliably, in a mildy techie environment

Web search: TINRA

A combination of Media Player Classic, Avisynth and TMPGenc will convert to
VCD.
Go to www.videohelp.com, there is a guide in the Convert section.

The same combination, but with VirtualDub instead of TMPGenc.
Or Tinra with the Tinra gui.
I haven't tried any of these options myself, but they are all said to be
quite tricky.
