Okay, I really need an explaination on this one. I just
heard from someone if it was possible to power up a PC
from another computer. From one person, I heard someone
on the Internet was kind enough to turn a PC in the
middle of the night. I told hime it wasn't possible to
turn on a PC from a remote location. Now, can anybody
explain and give me some details here?

There is a good explanation of Remote Wake up on the
following Intel site:

Yes it can be done. If anyone ever ask you to do screen
sharing DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The have the ability
to see and use your desktop, and all files on your
computer, from a remote location. I needed to use it
when I had a problem with my IP in order to fix a
problem. You can see everwhere they are going but they
have control over a mouse and keyboard from their end,
but over your computer. Be careful!!!!
