Boy have I botched this installation good. Having just
purchased two replacement computers running Windows XP I
naturally wanted to network them. Following the wizard I
created an operational network with shared files and
printer all working. Could not get the Internet
connection to function and little by little as I
attempted to configure the connection I began to loose
the other functions. In frustration I deleted all
references to the network in hopes of starting over. I
deleted shortcuts, My Network Places from start menu, any
files I could find that referred to home network. I
attempted to run the wizard again and had abortive
attempts and successful completions, yet never would they
work. At this point I can create a network station on
each computer, but they don't show up on each other's
network places.
QUESTION: How can I completely delete the jumble mess I
have created and start over without reloading Windows?????
