I know I'm probably smart enough to already know the answer to this,
but is it OK to install your PSU upside down?

I'm assuming it is OK....the PSU being upside down would allow me to
route the power cables a little easier and effiecently in my
midi-tower.

the power supply can usually be mounted in any position
just as long as you do nothing to interfere with the air flow

The PSU's lower fan will move air (heat) less efficiently if the unit
is upside down.

Assuming it is a two-fan PSU. Not that common really, at least not OEM.

You can but screw holes will not line up.

Mine went in upside down (the plug part is upside down, freaked me out), but
it's been fine and over a year now.
