real time agents

my real time agents are always in-active.when i actvate
them and close the app. they go back in-active .why is
that .if they wont stay active i cant use this program..
 
Others have reported fixing this issue via an update reinstall:

Control Panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change,
update.
