Real Printer Problem!

OK, put new printer cartridges into my Epson Printer and now it will not print.
USB lead in ok at both ends & have managed to scan & print OK.
But unable to print via the PC?
Any advice??
 
Are the drivers installed on the PC, and does it detect that it is connected ok?

Also, which printer is it - as if the new cartridges caused it then it may be one of the printers with cart monitoring software on it (to deter refills).

turn the thing off for 10 mins and turn it on again.
 
Had a problem with an after market cartridge on my Epsom . Tried to fit it many times , would not work . Fitted another cartridge of same make , worked perfectly . Another 75p wasted , drat and darn .

Seems re-installing the drivers & software twice for the Epson DX4800 Printer Scanner has worked.
Strange what happened, would like to know why it stopped printing, but all OK now.
