HELP!!!

Yesterday I downloaded update for XP from Microsoft's
website. Now I find I can not play my wma files on real
player or any other media player. Instead I get a message
which says "This is where the problem and the solution goes
(ErrorCode, ExtraInfo)".
What does it mean? What should I do?

So you are trying to play WMA file with RealONEPlayer? That seems crazy,
Real&Microsoft are two different companys, their files style are not the
same. So you can not play WMA file with Real Player or RealONEPlayer,
because WMA is designed by Microsoft, so just try it with Windows Media
Player 9, if it doesn't work, download the newest player from
http://download.microsoft.com and install, then try again

I don't know much about PC. But I was already playing WMA
files in Real Player...believe me or not. In the past
whenever I double clicked my WMA file it automatically
opened Real Player and played them. But now I am facing the
problem posted earlier....

Thanks Harry!! I downloaded the Window media player as you
suggested and now I am able to play those files. Though I
don't understand how Real Player was playing those WMA
files in the past???
Anyways, thanks for solving my problem.

RealPlayer 10 plays nearly every codec on the market, including WMA and MP4. I
suspect all that was missing was the codec. Go to Tools/Check For Update, and
you can download tons of codecs. Most will install automatically when needed.
