Does anyone have suggestions for .rm file converters?
I am looking for first hand experience feedback only.

Thanks!

sorry, no experience in this field Genna...But Good to hear from you!...
I have been using mozilla (freeware content) to see how many of the old(er)
posters were still around...Missed you kid.

Sincerely

GX:Transcoder is a fantastic encoding program with a good amount of
formats supported. They are in the beta stage (version 5) of their
next relase. This release will support real audio. I have been using
and watching this program for about 2 years. Can't believe it is free.
The website is www.germanixsoft.de/ They support German and English
languages. Hope this helps you in the future (maybe a month away).

You mean movie files? The only one I know of is TINRA, which I have
never had any success with.
You have to have the Real codecs on your system anyway (if you want to
convert), so why not keep the .rm's and play them with Real Alternative.

Did you hear the one about the dyslexic, agnostic, insomniac?
He would stay up late every night and wonder if there was a dog.
Remove yourhat to reply ... but it
may take a while. Best to go to www (dot) mistergeek (dot) com and
reply from there.

Seconded. I've converted from .rm to mp3 using an old (P3 500) computer.

Wow! I didn't realize it could do that!

The problem is not playing the files, but being able to extract clips from
it.
Did try TINRA, but not much good/consistent success with it.

Thanks anyway.
