I was considering working on this, but the market appears to be crowded.
Regardless, the first release would probably be For BCM3/Outlook 2007
because you can't customize BCM V2 very easily and it wouldn't be
supportable by Microsoft.
I am glad to see that someone else wants it
What's wrong with AgentOffice? It's fairly inexpensive and supports
exporting to Outlook based on what I see.
Sage just release a Real Estate specific version of ACT!.
Since ACT! 2005 rewrite ACT! is a machine hog, but it is the leading
Sales Contact Management product (which Outlook really is not i.e.
Sales Contact Manager).
I am very curious about the Business Contact Manager module for
Outlook 2007 and wish the public Beta was out.

Thanks for your ideas. One thing that prompts looking around is that I would
like improved synchronization with my new Blackberry. Outlook, despite its
limitations, was appealing because it is a de facto standard.

Hmmm Blackberry sync is doubtful, although Blackberry did release a
single-license version of their server for free recently. You could sync to
that server, which syncs to Outlook, and it would in turn sync to
Blackberry.
Windows Mobile 5.0, on the other hand, will become more competitive with
Blackberry as more carriers offer the the push email feature pack and enable
you to leverage your Exchange 2003 SP2/Feature pack. We share your
excitement for Outlook.
