Hello,

Does anyone know of a realy realy fast flash memory device that can just
live in my PCMCIA slot?

eg, not USB.

I presume PCMCIA is fast enough for ReadyBoost

I am a bit wary about using ReadyBoost as flash memory has a limited life
regarding memory rewrites. I'll wait until it is known to be a good thing..

If you mean you don't want to burn up your expensive flash because of that,
I guess I can see your point, but if you're worried you'll lose something if
your flash dies - you won't. The stuff Windows puts on there is predictive
cache, and it doesn't hurt anything if it dies or is removed.

With flash getting pretty cheap, it's an easy way to help the performance.
I don't know if PCMCIA is fast enough - good question. My USB sticks out
the back of my laptop - easy place to break it off...
