Reading sectors on a RAID

I have set up a RAID5 with 4 x 1TB disks and a SiL3132r5 controller.
It works well as a logical 2.9TB NTFS drive using Vista Business.

I am trying to read sectors to their own and have hit a problem.

I open the drive either as Drive G \\.\G: or \\.\Phys2. Either way
I can read sectors and it looks like the start of a single 2.7GB
drive, except I cannot access sectors above 0x6fffff30. This looks
very close to the size of a single disk drive. I don't get any error
messages back, or status errors from my SPTI command, but there is no
data read.

Would you expect to see the complete disk as a single drive (obviously
one will require a read(16) command to get above 2TB). Is there
another type of command to enable logical access to more than one
drive capacity?

Please ignore last post - I was doing something 'silly' and I can read
all sectors, logically.
