Reading Pane in Outlook2003

I have anumber of email accounts (POP3 and HTTP), and I
always run witht he Reading Pane (Preview Window)
switched off. However, soemtimes (and I'm not sure
exactly when) the Reading Pane is enabled for all my HTTP
accounts, and the only thing to do is to disable it again
for each and every folder in those accounts!

Pity there is NO global "Switch Off Reading Pane" that
can apply to every account!

Any ideas?

Paul.

There is a global reading pane, under tools-options and on the other tab.
Not sure what exactly there is for options. You could run the run line
switch of outlook /nopreview each time as well!

If you never use the Reading Pane you can alter your shortcut to
outlook.exe. Place the command line switch /nopreview behing "path to
outlook.exe" and Outlook will start wih the Reading Pane functionality
disabled.
