reading ntbackup files on Win98? XP?

I have an backup from my former Windows 2000 machine. I need to restore some
files that got lost in the conversion. Windows XP does not have
ntbackup.exe. I don't want to upgrade to XP Pro. Is there any way to restore
files from that ntbackup archive using Windows XP or Windows 98?

Windows XP Pro has ntbackup - I don't use Home (ick), so I'm not sure. From
start, run, type ntbackup...nothing happens? In accessories, system tools in
the program menu, nothin?

Anyway, Win98 won't help you out here - its backup uses a different format.

XP (home) does not have ntbackup, as my original email stated. I am looking
for a utility or even a way to run ntbackup on one of my existing machines
just long enough to restore the files.

BTW, Home Edition is not different from Pro here.
