Reading forwarded attachments

When I receive an email forwarding a string of other
emails, it appears only as an attachment which I then have
to click on to open each layer to get at the original
message. It's a lot like the Russian dolls with one layer
open after another.

I have used other email clients which expand the forwarded
emails in line with the transmitting email which forwarded
the whole mess to me. IN this setup all one has to do is
to scroll down to get at the original forwarded message,
rather than continually clicking on one attachment after
another to open them.

Is it possible to configure Outlook (Express) to do this?

Thank you.

No. That is caused by AOL (for sure) and, as I understand it, some other
services as well. It's their proprietary mail system that is causing the
problem and, unfortunately, there's not much we can do about it in Outlook
or Outlook Express.
