How can I read an EML file correctly with Thunderbird?
Or is there another free mail server that can do it?
Thanks

First of many results in a google search for "thunderbird eml":

"I found an answer to my question in the form a program called
IMAPSize, which can convert .eml files into Thunderbird's mbox folder
format. My former .eml files are now readily accessible in the
Thunderbird client."

The Thunderbird support forum at
<http://www.mozilla.org/support/#community>
says there's an extension for Thunderbird called "TB Attachment Tools"
http://www.supportware.net/mozilla/#ext9
which allows T-Bird to import .eml files.

If you'd prefer to switch programs, go to http://groups.google.com and
enter eml (email client name) in the search box, to see how people
open eml files with that client.
