No doubt I am not he first one to experience this problem,
but I have been unable to find a solution. When I create a
CD at home on my computer running Windows ME, the computer
at work running Windows XP does not recognize the data on
this CD. XP says the CD is blank, but ME shows the data on
the CD. Why doesn't XP recognize the data created while
using ME? Can I read the CD on the machine using XP?
Thanks for your help...

Hi Jerry,

How was the disk created? I'm betting it is with packet-writing software.
WinXP's ability to read this format is limited, and you would need to
install a compatible program in order for it to work.

May have to finalize the CD with the software on the WinME computer before
using it on the XP computer.
