Read Receipts being stored up and sent months later

We have a person outside the organization that sends email to a person in our
organization and they request a read receipt. Today, the person outside the
organization recived months of read receipts from the person in our
organization. Outlook 2002, Exchange 2000.


Any thoughts?

No, the user did not mark them as all read today. No, the user only has one
mailbox configured in outlook.
