Hi,
Important doc. was saved with a security password added
it. but I want everyone arround to access it READ-ONLY.

I am using WIN2000. I could not retrive my doc read-only
but I can access it using my password. I would appriciate
if some can send me e-mail to (e-mail address removed) and tell
me which tab to click on so that I can retrive my doc read-
only without using password.

As martinique says, all current versions of Word are
basically useless for this purpose. Adobe PDF format is one
possibility.

Another, if you really WANT to use Word, would be to look
into Word 2003's newest capabilities in this regard.
