Read Only

I just bought a desktop w/XP Home. I upgraded to XP Pro to join it to a
domain.

I also installed Office 97.

Now when I try to save something (anything) it tells me "Access Denied".

Looking at different files it seems that everything is read only.
Directories are read only.

First I tried to change the properties by right clicking and changing it,
that didn't work. Then I went in through explorer, that didn't work, then on
the command line using attrib -R c:\directory\file
that didn't work.

Any ideas?

Talk to your domain administrator. It's a different user.
