Read Only

Suddenly, my DB on the network opens "Read Only" and I can't figure out how
this switch was turned. (perhaps during the last Network Failure???) I am
listed as the owner in the Properties, I have changed all the properties on
the Security Tab to Full... I can't delete the DB because it says it may be
opened by another user (it's not!) ... there is no ldb file listed.... I'm
totally stumped! Any help here?

What are your permissions on the folder? If you do not have permission to
create new files in the folder then the LDB file cannot be created and thus
Read-Only access is all that is allowed.
