read only setting issue

It seems my secured dbase (in Access 2003) is somehow only allowing my users
read only use. When I log on at their computer is says that the dbase FE is
read only. At my computer, which is where I created it and where I moved it
from to the network, I can log on and add records but not at other computers.

The user groups I've got are full data user, read-only user, and admin.
Most of users are in the full data user group. I checked the security
permissions for the directory where it is stored and they have modify rights.


Any suggestions?
 
You copied it to the network. You now need to copy it from the network to
each PC. Each user should have their own copy of the frontend on their
computer. Only the backend and mdw need be on the server. Just have a copy
of the frontend there for ease of copying.
