Read-only message

I have set up a database as 'read-only'. Is there a way
please to turn off the message 'This database is read
only ... ' on opening.

Is the file marked as ReadOnly by the OS ? ( Right click on the file,
get its properties). If so, and it is not wanted, uncheck the attribute.

as I want users only to be able to run reports on this
database, but don't want them to have this message on
statup.
