read-only files

In our office all computers are connected to a network
but on one of the computers all files are saved as read
only. We are trying to find out why when files are saved
on this computer they can only be accessed as read only
files on other computers on the network. We dont have
this problem on any of the other computers on the network.

Check the permissions on the folders and network shares on that
computer. It sounds like someone has modified the permissions so others
on the network can only read the files, not modify them.
