read only CDrw

I have copied files to a a cd-rw.. how can delete them when I try to delete
I get a message that says that this is read only file

What did you use to copy the files? If you used XP's CD burning tool, it
won't let you delete a single file. Instead, it has you erase the entire
CDRW and start over.
