Read-Only Attribute

When viewing the properties of some folders in Explorer, I
see that the 'Read-Only' attribute is set - the check box
IS cheched, but the checkbox itself seems to be grayed out
behind the checkmark. When I clear the box and Apply, I
expected the attribute to be removed, but when I look at
the properties again, the attribute is still on. Anyone
have any ideas what is occurring here?

Thanks, Tim Carew

I don't know if updates are the problem, but I experienced
the same problem after installing updates. If you are
using windows explorer, look at the sharing and security
settins for the drive that you are sharing. This is where
I located a setting that had to be changed from
only "read" to read and write.
