I think You probably just use a stream writer to do so.
I don't know about the Windows inifile format, but I made a very simple
inifile reader some time ago, I could send it to you.
(It was for the desktop, might need a few changes)
you could also use the registry, there is a nice Registry library on www.opennetcf.org
