Read data from SqlCeDataReader

How can I read data of some field from SqlCeDataReader by field name ?

I want read data by field name when I write:
int x = sqlCeDataReader("ID");
it doesn't work.

in C# the square brackets are the indexer, and since this returns an object
you should cast it to an int e.g.

int x = (int)myDataReader["ID"];
