Read and Deliver Receipts Outlook 97

I have Outlook 97, I have done everything as far as setting
up for "Read," and "Delivery" Receipts. No matter what I
do it will not generate the receipts. I use Windows 98 and
DSL. What can I do?

How did you set up for the receipts? I have Outlook 98 (not 97, granted)
and don't see how to ask for receipts.

Also, what kind of email software do your recipients use? Also Outlook? Do
they share a mail server with you, or do you transmit over the Internet to
them?

The reason for asking is that "receipts" aren't really a standard Internet
email feature, so their operation (if implemented at all) may depend on
compatibility of sending software, receiving software, and (possibly) the
relay systems in between.
