How do you read an excel spreadsheet cell on 64bit windows without using
MS.JET (because it hasn't been ported) or without using Office interop
(Because I'm not allowed to install it on the server)?

Any ideas?

There is no data transport mechanism so I think that would leave the new Office XML format.

You might want to try our product, it runs natively in 64 bits (no WOW)
and allows you to read and write excel files with just an added
assembly. No need to install Excel or anything else on the server.

Hope it helps.
