Reactivation of XP

I have a desk top PC running XP Home Edition and a Lap top
running XP Professional. I am preparing to 'Strip' both
computers and re-install the XP OS on both of them. Do I
need to re-activate the OS for each of them as before? If
re-activation is required is the procedure any different
than when I installed them originally?

Activation will be required and no problem.
Worst case is a 5 minute call to Microsoft.
