Why can you not log in under that name?
What is the message you get?
Can you change the password for that account? (are you logged in as an
administrator) (If that account has any EFS encrypted files stored under its
credentials - don't change its password!)
If you can get to the files and copy them - why do you need to log in as
that account? heh
The other name doesn't come up at the log in screen, My name comes up
because I an using some programs that are activated at a certain time
of day and I have to have a pass word for that. The other user name
used to come up before I had to rebuild my machine. It still is in the
user name file. I even changed the password for that user name but it
still doesn't come up on the log in screen.
Actually I wanted to go back and use the New York Times forum. I was
signed up before but I hadn't used it in awhile so they wanted to sign
up again. The problem is they sent an email to an old email address
that hadn't been active in 10 years. Now I am stuck because the Times
never thought there might ever a mistaken email address. So when I try
to resister again the screen pops and says error go and get the email
we sent. No web site does this except the stupid New York Times.
I want to sign up for the forums under another name, Then I can talk to
them about fixing the bug in their sign in procedure.
I have another reason I get mail under this other user name and
roboform helps me log in.
