reactivate email

Had an email today from maildeamon.com, suggesting I need to reactivate my
email address and to include current password,current email user name and
confirm password, failure to do so cane lead to deactivation of this email
address!!

Never had to do this before? how do I know this ia genuine?

You cannot be so naive as to not know that, that is a PHISH e-mail.
Either discard it or forward it to a service that handles PHISH
e-mails. I can supply a list if your desire.

You must be new to computers and/or e-mail to have never heard of phishing.

Without showing us the actual headers from the phish e-mail, no one here can
tell you from where it really originated.
