Hey guru's out there I have a good question for you guys. Maybe, it's
possible, maybe it's not! Here goes,...I am running this application in
Access 97 and in the application is a report which has a sub-report. The way
this thing is put together is that the main/parent report has a table of
product values (Product table has two fields, the auto number and the product
name), to which the sub-report (Product detail) is bound via the Parent/Child
field links. The problem is this, if the in the main/parent report there is a
gap of two, three or more products for which the data in the sub-report had
no link, the records end up being spaced with gaps of one to 10 or 20 records
before the next line item shows up. Is there a method to correct this? There
should be, I think, only, at present it does not appear evident! Thus,...a
request for your assistance! Looking forward to you input on this one.

Thanks very much for any pointers you may have on this matter!

Try setting the CanShrink and CanGrow property to Yes for
both the subreport control and the section that contains it.
