Hey Dave -
In cell A1 put your slope (m), and in cell A2 put your intercept (b).
In cell C1 put the minimum value of X for your chart, and in C2 put the
maximum value of X. In Cell D1 put this formula:
=$A$1*C1+$A$2
(note the use of dollar signs on cells A1 and A2 but not C1), copy this
cell, select D2 and paste it.
Select the range C12 and start the chart wizard. Make an XY Scatter
chart.
For your other formula, rearrange it to get Y=(C-AX)/B. Put -A/B into
cell A1 and C/B into A2 and repeat the method above.
