hi,
I am running windows 2000pro on an IBM PC with AMD K6-2
500 with 256MB RAM. My printer is Lexmark T614 connect via
RJ45 connection. 2 other computers(1 PC & 1eMac) connected
to the printer through a broadband router and they both
work fine. When I tried to install printer driver on the
IBM PC, just before finishing installation, it
says "Installation failed to create printer objects on
local computer", and the installation failed.
When I go from Start menu to double click on the "Add
Printer" icon, it gives the following error message.
"Out of resources"
Printer operation cannot continue due to lack of
resources. The printer subsystem is unavailable"
For this error, I went on to look MS KnowledgeBase and
followed the instructions saying.....
Start>Control Panel>Admin tools>Services>print spooler>
Start.
But still it doesn't fix the problem, any help would be
appreciated.
