I have a presentation of pictures in PP 2007 that I've inserted, one to each
slide. They all have a border round them. I can't see a way of automatically
re-sizing these pictures so they fill the whole slide with no border.
Is there a way?

Thanks

Hi Gordon,

I use the following in PowerPoint 2002. Maybe it will work for you.

To fill the slide and retain the aspect ratio:

INSERT | NEW SLIDE | FORMAT | BACKGROUND | In the background window click on
the arrow for drop-down menu | select FILL EFFECTS | PICTURE tab | click
SELECT PICTURE | click on the file for the desired picture | INSERT | Check
"Lock Aspect Ratio" | OK | APPLY.

Thanks - I'll have a look at that.

If you create a Photo Album in PPT (Insert on Ribbon, Photo Album) this will
place one image on each slide and enlarge it proportionally to fill as much
of the screen as possible.

I do this and then set the background to black and apply to all which
removes all white borders from the area of the image that the resize doesn't
fill. A quick and painless way to create a full slide show without
inserting individual pictures.

Let us know if this helps.
