Re-set Vista screen resolution on wake up

Every time my Dell 1420 wakes up I need to reset the screen resolution from
low to high. I click apply and say yes when asked if I want to keep the new
settings. Why won't the resolution stick?

I had this on an Inspiron 1501, newer video drivers fixed it for me.
