re probably hard drive fraud

"I bought what was supposed to be a retail Seagate 750 PATA drive on
eBay. I paid with PayPal. My PayPal account is funded from my
MasterCard account"

I am interested in an update.
Were you able to contact the seller and if so what was their response?
What other parties did you involve ie. Ebay, cops, credit card company?
If any of the above are involved I know resolution will take some time.

I have bought many hdd's online and do not recall being scammed, perhaps one
that was DOA, but your outcome may assist others if they have a similar
issue.

I would also like to know how this plays out (and I hope you get
