Hello,

I have a couple main folders that hold several
subfolders each. After I make a sub folder within the main
folder, it just puts it wherever in the stack of
subfolders. How can I reorder them?

Thank you,
animgirl

I'm not sure if there is an option to sort folders a special way.
Below is how I control folders.

NORMAL CONTROLLED
Business 01 Important
Friends 02 Business
Important 03 Vendors
Junk 04 Friends
Vendors 05 Junk

Perhaps you could mention your Outlook version. It would be a big help.

Sort where?

I'm not aware of a "Folder" sort option, is there? I'm using Outlook XP.

Outlook Express 6.0 it is.

Oh No! Outlook Express is taboo here, why it's named Outlook I don't know,
it just confuses everyone... Why not name Outlook Express, IEMailer Express
or better yet IEPony Express, anything but Outlook.

Undoubtedly you will be politely ask to post this question on the Outlook
Express News Group.
Microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

That's what I thought.
This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
outlook express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x

A good website for information on OE is:
http://www.tomsterdam.com/

Below is how I control folders.

Ummm... what do mean control? How do you control them
technically? See, I know how I want them reordered, it's
just doing it that I don't have the knowhow.

Not to worry. It's a common mistake. These groups are much easier to find
and the OE groups are very well hidden.
