Hello Robert
Type services.msc in Start>Run and click OK
In "Services" scroll down and find "Wireless Zero Configuration" and double
click it.
In "Startup Type" set the value to Automatic and click Apply.
Close "Services", and reboot.
With the wireless card installed properly (recent firmware) you should be
able to view your wireless connection in "Network Connections".
Some wireless cards come with their own configuration utility though so
check your installation instructions to see if WZC is supported. If you
still have trouble, post back.
What kind of card and access point do you have?
hope this helps
and Happy Independence Day!
