One thing to check: make sure that the "nut" on the leadscrew
hasn't simply run up so hard against the end stop that the motor
can't budge it. On my LS-30, the leadscrew is brass and has a
very small screwdriver slot in the front end that is visible once
the front cover is off. I just had to use a small screwdriver to
"unstick" it (back it away from the stop a little bit), and all
was well afterward.
Thank you, thank you, thank you "tbl"!!!
From everything else I was reading on the internet, my LS-2000 was a goner.
I figured I'd open it up and see what might be the cause of the 0x04620000
error, but it wasn't obvious. Before I poked around further, I thought I'd
keep
digging on the net - I found your comment, and that did the trick! Just
turning
the screw a little unstuck it, and it's now working as well as before.
I wanted to post this success to help anyone else with the same problem -
try unsticking the leadscrew.
Cheers,
