I have a virus in my computer that has taking over the
internet connection default setting.
I change and save new internet connection but when I start
the next day it goes back to this strange internet address.
I think I am going to delete everything and reload the OS
and windows 2ooo all over.
Do you know what command would be the best to make sure I
delete this virus so it does not appear after I reload all
programs.
I have restored the computrer with a backup date that it
use to be okey, it was normall for 5 - 6 hours and now is
back to same internet connection http://glove-

more % and numbers )
Thanks
Oscar

I would suggest that you try using something like SpyBot search and Destroy first to
detect/clean your computer of parasites. You may also try advanced mode/tools for
more advanced techniques to try to see what is causing the problem. Also see the link
below on more information on hijacking and parasites. If you do want to reinstall
[assuming nothing else helps or you just want a fresh start] you can just boot from
the install cdrom to initiate the installation process. Be sure to back up all your
data and settings, including your user profile, that are on the partition where you
are going to reinstall. --- Steve
