That link works for me, what happens when you attempt it?
Does anyone have an answer to this (one that is not a dead link)?

I have found the item "lameme" (w/o quotes) in my Windows XP registry.
Does

anyone know what this refers to?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\lameme

Thanks...

New Registry.

The best program i have found on the net is jv 16 powertools. It will explain any registry on your system. It also has a fuction of getting the information on the net for you. It can be downloaded from warez.com
It will let you know if you have picked up a worm or trojan and gives you a choice of removing the item or uninstalling it from your system.
This program has many other features which you can check yourselfs.
