I didn't get a CD copy of XP when I purchased my computer
(running XP as an operating system), where do I get one?
Can it be downloaded free here at Microsoft? I need to
format and reload XP.

Thanks

Your system manufacturer is required to give you some means of recovery. If
they didn't give you an XP CD or a recovery CD, they likely placed recovery
information on a separate, usually hidden partition. You need to check your
system documentation for the manufacturer's recovery procedure or contact
their tech support.

No, there is no XP download.

You will have to get it from the vendor that sold you the computer. You
can't download it and Microsoft doesn't support OEM versions of XP.

Contact the computer's manufacturer. Only they can help you.

Unless the PC is an HP in which case look in your manual. The installation
files are already on your computer you just need to find out which key to
press to get to the install program.
