Not sure if I'm on the right forum, but here goes:
I recently had problems with my Microsoft word 200 SR-1,
so I un-installed it with plans to re-install it. My
disk was purchased on the internet. The disk is
genuine, has a legitimate Microsoft certificate of
authenticity sticker with it. But it says: "for
distribution with a new PC"
When I attempt to re-load the Microsoft word program, I
get the following message after entering the product
key: "This is an invalid CD key value. Please check the
number located on your CD key sticker."
I've made multiple attempts, and yes, I have the number
correct.
Help, I'm not computer literate, and now I don't have my
word processor.
Thanks.........Bill Neece
