About 2 years ago, I bought and installed MS Office 2000
Premium. Until now it has worked fine.
The other day, I received an email telling me my ISP
service has been suspended. I called my ISP and they said
my account was fine. I attempted to print the email and my
PC locked up. Since then, every time I try to start
Outlook, I get the infamous Microsoft message "This
program has performed an illegal operation and will be
shut down".
If I re-install Outlook, will my folders, calendar,
contacts, etc. be saved, or go off to la-la land?
Can I re-install just Outlook, or do all the applications
have to be re-installed?

The first thing I would look for is a Virus Checker that
is up to date. You can use House-Call for free on Trends
site. You may have infected your computer when you
opened that message.
