Hello. I work in a korean public school. They have given me a laptop with
windows xp pro, but unfortunatley it is the korean language version. I have
been given the cd for windows xp pro english version (and the codes), but am
having problems installing it. My aim is to install windows xp pro in
english, whilst keeping my files which are saved in "my documents" in the
korean edition.
When i insert the english xp installtion disk, i get the welcome message. I
try to install and a pop up in korean come up. I have two options on it.
whicherver i click it always returns me to the welcome page.
What do i need to do in order to install the english version. the main
reason that this a problem for me is because all warning boxes (that appear
when you download documents... accept, decline etc) are in korean. This means
i do not know what they say as i don not speak korean. At my school there is
no one who has an english level high enough to understtand the problem, nor
is their english good enough to translate the warning boxes.
