You are useing an ethernet connection to the router?
If so its probably because you failed to install your laptop hardware
drivers, which is why your display is like it is.
Do you not have any laptop driver cd's supplied with your sys?
If you have lost them you will have to use another pc to access your laptop
manu web site, then download/burn the drivers, Chipset,video etc, *specific*
to your model. Then install these on your laptop

|I just had to re-install 2k pro and ran into these problems. It only has 16
