re-installation rollback

i just tried ro re-install XP, the computer restarted and
when i got to the partitioning option i abandoned the
process.

now when computer starts it defaults to set up XP instead
of launching the current XP operating system.

i tried system restor but there seems to be a problem
because fo some patches that i installed.

can i delete these installation files that i aborted?

just found it. for anyone who faces same prob. run
msconfig and check boot paths, delete invalid boot paths.
